East Valley Partnership getting new CEO

Denny Barney, a business owner who serves on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, has been named president and CEO of the East Valley Partnership.

The economic development group focuses on Phoenix’s eastern suburbs. The East Valley has a population of more than 1.3 million people.

Barney, 48, will take the EVP helm June 1. He will succeed John Lewis.
