U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., has introduced a bill to nix steel and aluminum tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump.
Trump imposed the tariffs earlier this month — exempting Mexico and Canada (Arizona’s largest two trading partners) — arguing they would help stop foreign import dumping on the U.S. market.
Flake — who isn’t running for reelection to the Senate but has been mentioned as a potential 2020 GOP challenger to Trump — promised to introduce tariff nullification legislation…
