Survey: Gilbert saw the highest growth in number of renters over the past decade

Residents in Arizona cities over the past decade were increasingly looking to rent rather than own a home, according to RentCafe.

Three Arizona cities were made the top 10 cities where rentership proportionately increased the most. The findings were part of a compilation of data by RentCafé looking at 100 of the biggest U.S. cities by population. In all but three of the cities surveyed, rentership is outpacing homeownership.
