Mark began his lending career in 1993 as V.P. of one of the largest private money lenders in the Pacific Northwest and co-founded its portfolio of income funds. After growing the company into one of the nation’s largest, he relocated with his family to Scottsdale to further expand company operations. In 2008 he successfully sold his business interests and now works with Kenwood Mortgage Investments as an investor and underwriter.
Mark is a founding board member of the Arizona Private Lender Association (APLA) where he continues to chair its subcommittees on regulatory compliance and unlicensed lending. He has been a featured panelist before the Turnaround Management Association regarding the Dodd Frank Act and its effects on banking and lending. Before entering private lending, Mark was a U.S. Naval Officer. He graduated from Washington State University in 1982 with a BA in Business Administration.
