RANDY PERSSON
President and Co-Owner
Randy began his real estate career as a Real Estate Loan Analyst at the United Bank of Denver while attending the University of Denver College of Law night school. Upon graduation from law school, he worked with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Denver and San Diego for two years specializing in real estate partnership accounting and valuation. In 1978, he joined Amsted Associates in Beverly Hills and for the next 20+ years was involved in syndicating, developing, financing and managing a commercial real estate portfolio that grew to over $220,000,000 in asset value.
In 1992, he founded Kenwood Mortgage and in 2000, his wife Rose joined him at Kenwood and they now are active full time owners and hard money lenders. Regarding real estate financing, Randy has originated, brokered and/or invested in commercial and residential real estate loans in excess of $300,000,000.
Randy is a Life Alumni at Arizona State University, a licensed Arizona Mortgage Broker, a Licensed Arizona Real Estate Broker and a licensed North Dakota attorney.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Beverly Hills/Brentwood Red Cross, the Phoenix (now Scottsdale) Jewish Community Center and is a board member of Camp Not-A-Wheeze. Camp Not-A-Wheeze is a one week camp held in Heber, AZ where children learn from medical professionals how to manage their asthma. Randy has published various poetry and a children’s book The Mystery of Wildhorse Island. His second book The Mystery of the Grand Canyon and Climate Change is scheduled for publication in June of 2022.
Finally, Randy thoroughly enjoys being a lender and his door is always open.
